Box Of Frogs#2

An exciting new project to reimagine the original Box of Frogs for indoor performance spaces, and expand its reach through walkabout and a rich series of workshops.
This multifaceted project celebrates the joyful chaos of difference - the vivid extremes of mood, neurodivergence, and the inner engines that drive our bodies and minds. Through the lens of contemporary circus and increased understanding, we will witness inner voices, brilliant movement and obsessional dexterities.
The indoor performance will be funny, highly skilled and unapologetically celebratory. The outdoor strand brings characters from the show directly to the street - inviting audiences to experience the wild ride of the brain made physical.
Our workshops blend movement, discussion and stop-frame animation. These sessions are reflective and inclusive, offering participants a chance to explore how the body communicates what’s going on inside the mind and how the physical might affect our thinking. It’s a space to play, connect, and learn from different kinds of embodiment and expertise - and experience the joy that is creating something with others.
We are looking for partners to receive the first workshops – groups with lived experience of neurodivergence, or those working alongside them. Workshops are being individually designed for specific needs, desires and contexts so please get in touch to discuss suitability. Individuals can equally participate without leaving their seats or without sitting down.
At its heart, Box of Frogs #2 celebrates what the body can do, how exhilarating it is to witness, and how captivating our differences truly can be.
