Mish Weaver has designed for performances indoors and outdoors, mixing a love of weight-bearing structures with circus props, specialising in choreographing on and with objects and bodies.
Mish began her circus career as an aerialist, performing on trapeze and Cloudswing (pictured) then moved on to performances for theatres.
Blending technical knowledge of circus disciplines, fine art training, and academic study (choreography, scenography, and voice for circus), Mish blends carefully researched thematic ideas with metaphoric use of set and circus bodies. Much of Mish’s work focuses on climate psychology and mental health, but she is not averse to pure entertainment.
