Mish Weaver has taught, led workshops and run engagement projects in all manner of context’s, for all manner of groups and needs. Mish’s education cv is available here.
Currently Mish is developing her engagement ambitions around two themes:
The experience of hopefulness - how to identify hope and what the effect might be of believing that good things are coming up. Waiting Song is the public facing outcome of this, and the team are further developing their approach to conversations with strangers, and what wrap around style of activities/workshops or discussion might be possible to accompany Waiting Song to outdoor festivals.

Box of Frogs animations
For Box of Frogs 2 Mish is building a new model of engagement. We will explore different types of neurodivergence and how they may affect physical behaviour, to recognise and destigmatise. Through the use of circus vocabularies, such as extreme movement, exhibition of strength, flexibility or dexterity, the desire is to celebrate how the way that someone’s brain works might affect the amazing things they can do with their body.
The initial phase of exploration involves consultation with a consultant clinical psychologist, leading to the design of workshops. We will work with different partners to identify suitable groups to brig the workshops to. Workshops will involve presenting short sketches that describe a chosen state of mind, and will lead to the creation of simple stop frame animation of inanimate objects - to represent a mental state, a perception of mood disorder or just a feeling.
