Two research phases funded by the Conservatoire of Dance and Drama into ‘Circus Voices’ (2017 and 2019), led to exploration, teaching, lecturing, and devising around the use of voice in circus performance. This was deepened by a DYCP (Arts Council England) in 2019 to develop Mish’s directing skills, including pursuing voice coaching and collaboration with coaches for voice workshops with circus disciplines. The research led to such things as:
